Taylor Swift teases a big 2024: Many exciting things ahead

Taylor Swift says she has lots of exciting things to offer including her new album, THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT.

“We have so many exciting things ahead of us […] Most importantly I have a brand new album. I can not wait to share it with you.”

Taylor Swift’s in the peak of her career and she shows absolutely no sign of slowing down as she declared there is still more to come when she claimed Artist of the Year award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Swift’s 2023/24 run has seen her embark on a record-breaking Eras Tour, produce a record-breaking movie of that tour, win various Grammy awards, become Time’s Person of the Year and even form a relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce.

She’s found the time to do all of that whilst regularly jetting around the globe to perform in front of thousands of adoring fans from California to Brazil to Singapore and France soon too, but she’s hungry for more.

“Hey! I wanted to say thank you so much to anyone who voted for this award,” Swift said in the clip as she couldn’t attend. “iHeart, you’ve also just been so incredibly supportive over the course of my entire career, but especially this year has been pretty spectacular. I am so grateful for that.

“You know, to the fans, it is completely up to you to choose how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, what music you want to make the soundtrack of your life. And to anyone who has included me in those choices, I am so, so, so thankful for that.”

She added: “So, thank you for voting for me for this incredible honor – artist of the year,” the singer-songwriter’s thoughtful speech concluded. “I am so blown away and so thankful and I just can’t wait to keep having fun with you guys because we have a lot of exciting things coming up. Thank you so much.”

Swift dominated nominations at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, leading the way with nine of them as she went on to win three awards.

But perhaps the news her fans were most desiring was further details about her next album which will drop on April 19, and the 34-year-old didn’t disappoint them.

“We have so many exciting things ahead of us,” Swift said of the upcoming album. “I’m continuing on with the tour and, most importantly, I have a brand new album called The Tortured Poets Department, which comes out on April 19. I cannot wait to share it with you.”
