Prince William snubs Prince Harry’s request to meet during UK visit as relationship becomes ‘extremely fractured’

Prince Harry will not see his brother, Prince William, when he arrives in London next week ahead of the Invictus Games’ 10th anniversary ceremony service – another indication that the brothers’ relationship remains “extremely fractured”.

The Duke of Sussex will return to the UK next Wednesday to attend a service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark a decade since he launched the event in which injured servicemen and women compete in a variety of sporting competitions.

During his three-day UK trip, Harry will visit his father, King Charles, to check in on him amid his cancer battle. According to the Mirror, father and son have kept in touch since the monarch revealed his diagnosis back in February, and the king has made time in his busy schedule to meet up with his youngest son.

Harry has kept in regular contact with his father on several occasions and made no secret of his desire to see him when he can,” a source told the publication.

“He has been especially concerned about him and hopes the King will be well and able to see him as planned.”

However, the same cannot be said for Prince William, the Prince of Wales, who will reportedly snub Harry on his upcoming trip despite the younger royal’s request to catch up. The brothers have remained estranged since Harry left the royal family in 2020 for a life in America with his wife Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie, who turns 5 next week, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

And it appears a visit with Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is also out of the question for Harry as she continues preventive cancer treatment.

“Their relationship remains extremely fractured,” the source said of the brothers. “Harry has privately expressed a wish to sit down with his brother but now is not the time.”
