‘Pornography destroyed my family!’: Analyzing Kanye West’s biggest meltdown yet in now-deleted IG rant

Kanye West took to Instagram for a multi-post barrage going after everyone from Hillary and Bill Clinton, to Mark Zuckerberg, and Kris Jenner.

The Donda Academy, the school that Kanye West founded just launched in the Simi Valley, California, seems to be at the root of his outburst. The reason: that Kim Kardashian won’t have their children enrolled in Ye’s new school. The overall issue is that Kanye West believes a father should decide where a kid goes to school. When it is in fact the right of the parent with majority custody, which in their current arrangement is Kim.

The school that North West, Kim and Ye’s eldest, attends is the Sierra Canyon School, a preparatory co-ed day school for pupils from pre-kindergarten through to the 12th grade. Kim Kardashian never revealed this fact, but photo evidence of the uniform North West wears while on school grounds, coupled with Kanye West’s recent rant confirms this.

Kanye West’s caption of “God Loves Us” doesn’t seem to fit here. It is more of a general mantra. The IM screenshot he shares here is of his ex mother in law Kris Jenner’s relaying a message through Kim saying: “Please stop mentioning my name. Kanye’s response of “y’all don’t have (a say) over my black children and where they go to school”, is a clear reference to his frustration and Kim not enrolling them at The Donda Academy.

Here Kanye mentions Trevor Noah. The host of The Daily Show once criticized Kanye for his public outbursts towards Kim after their divorce. Ye clearly hasn’t let go of Noah’s criticism of him.

Again, Kanye here shares “I’m the kids father” as a pictured caption. The text caption then points to his disbelief and frustration at not choosing where his kids go to school.

Here Kanye talks about “Sierra Canyon” in reference to North West’s current school. The GAP and Adidas, who Kanye has collaborated with and had a falling out, could be referenced here in regard to conspiracy theories that revolve around them. The text caption “Hilary and Mark” is in reference to Hillary Clinton and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Kanye here keeps pushing Kim’s buttons here, accusing her of deciding where the kids go to school because of being “half white”. The caption, a popcorn bucket, in reference to “go get your popcorn, it’s going down”.

Here Kanye uses a picture of Victoria Villarroel, Kylie Jenner’s former assistant. And then goes on to slam Kim Kardashian for her sex tape, and Kris Jenner for “making” her do it. Then Kanye goes on to say “pornography destroyed my family”.
