Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce endorse Morgan Wallen in concert and Swifties explode
It’s not often you’re walked out on stage by six Super Bowl rings but that’s what Morgan Wallen experienced when she kicked off his gig at the Arrowhead Stadium accompanied by the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Whilst the quarterback and tight end were not draped in their typical Chiefs NFL armour with Kelce sporting a white t-shirt, black pants and black shoes whilst Mahomes donned an ocean-blue polo and light blue jeans with white shoes, a cap and shades.
Perhaps controversially, Wallen decided to sport a Kansas City jersey with a white baseball cap, white shorts and white shoes. Of course, wearing the jersey isn’t controversial but the number? That’s a different story.
The musician selected the number seven which is also the jersey of Harrison Butker, the kicker for the team who attracted criticism for perceived anti-Semitism, misogynistic and homophobic comments in the media.
For some people, this could have been interpreted as an honest mistake but Wallen is equally controversial in his own after being caught using a racial slur before throwing a chair off a balcony
