Swiatek met Alcaraz during a practice session ahead of the New York Major. Days later, the Spaniard faced a shock exit at the hands of Botic van de Zandschulp in the second round.In another practice session, Swiatek played with Osaka and the Japanese player also suffered a second round against Karolína Muchová.Moreover, the Pole participated in a mixed doubles exhibition event during the Fan Week at the US Open. She partnered with Sebastian Korda and played against Matteo Berrettini and Jasmine Paolini. Coincidentally, both Korda and Berrettini were ousted in the second round
