Well, the Oscars red carpet is over, and no Meghan Markle sighting yet. Another year where you and I are told that Meghan Markle might be at the Oscarsāor, letās face it, any kind of award show or event. I mean, if the BAFTA Awards were in America and not over in Britain, theyād probably say sheās going to that too.
Essentially, I think just like everything else weāve been fed by the media and her PR teamāoh, thereās a possibility Meghan will be at the Oscarsāno, she wonāt. Why? Because you have to be invited, and you have to have a legitimate reason to be there.
Now, hereās the thing: this time next year could be a different story, depending on how her new show performs and how, letās say, flexible the Oscars are.
Do you still buy into the Oscars the same way we found out about the Emmys? Remember, with the Emmys, you literally only had to cough up a few hundred bucks, and theyād consider whatever you submitted for an award. And yet, despite all that, these two (Harry and Meghan) didnāt even win one because they werenāt good enough to be nominated.
So, fast forward to the Oscars. Next year, I think Meghan could be in the mix. Why? Because if you look at what sheās already paid forālike that massive billboard in New York City promoting her new showāthat had to cost a few hundred thousand dollars just to get her face up there. Thatās just part of the promotion game.
Now, hereās the real question: will she pay people to review her show positively? You know itās going to happen. Not just YouTubers like us, but mainstream reviewers too. Whoās reviewing it, and how are they reviewing it? Iām going to stay neutral. Iāll give her a shot, and if the show sucks, Iāll point it out. If itās goodāwhich, letās be honest, itās probably going to be Real Housewives-level dramaāIāll say so.
Because thatās what this is, right? Itās the Real Housewives of Meghan Markleās Multiple Personalities. Sheās trying to play it off as some high-end lifestyle or cooking show, like sheās the next Martha Stewart. But no, dude. Sheās more like a Bethenny Frankel. You know, one of those Real Housewives types.
Could she win an award for this? Maybe a Razzie for Worst Actress in a Reality Show. But then again, thatās the point, isnāt it? This is supposed to be a reality show, and sheās acting in it. Did you see those exaggerated facial expressions she was making in the trailer? Sheās a horrible actress, but sheās a horrible actress with very rich connections.
So, hereās the million-dollar question: Can Meghan Markle buy an Oscar in 2026? Hey, man, itās just money. Harry, bust out that black card.
